EduK8 Fund. From its beginning, the Church of the Lutheran Confession has considered Christian education of utmost importance, both to the children being trained and to the future of the synod. The need for God-fearing lay people, pastors, and teachers will always be present. Thanks to the recently established EduK8 Fund, the Board of Education and Publishing (BoEP) has been able to assist congregations in their mission to train up their young people “in the way they should go,” (Proverbs 22:6). Already in the first year of the EduK8 Fund, the BoEP has been able to award funding for the 2025-2026 school year to assist in restarting the school at Peace Thru Christ in Middleton, Wisconsin, and to help maintain the current staffing levels at Grace Lutheran School in Valentine, Nebraska. Plans are also being developed to assist Mt. Zion in Madison Heights, Michigan, to begin a school for the 2026-2027 school year.
