In Our CLC Classrooms —

Meet: Philip Strike

Philip Strike began teaching at Holy Cross Lutheran School of Phoenix, Arizona in the fall of 1996. Philip, an alumnus of Immanuel Lutheran High School and Immanuel Lutheran College, Eau Claire, Wis., graduated in 1995 with his degree in Elementary Education.

Being dismayed with the direction many public schools in our country are taking, Philip felt teaching in one of our Christian schools was God’s plan for him to make a difference in children’s lives.

Philip’s favorite subjects to teach are math and science. Outside of the classroom he enjoys spending time with his wife Lana (nee Romberg) and son Carl. His hobbies include basketball and biking.

May the Lord of the Church continue to bless his efforts in our synod’s classrooms.
